Sara Beck is a writer and photographer in New York City. Interested in how experiences of gender and sexuality inform perceptions of both the extraordinary and the mundane, her work, which takes the shape of poems, portraits, and still lifes, pays close attention to how these seemingly small intersections can evoke feelings of both freedom and confinement.
